Assists in and is fully responsible for Housekeeping Shift Manager duties in the absence of the Housekeeping Shift Manager. Prioritizing good communication with coworkers to foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and supervising housekeeping employees.
• Inspect and evaluate guest rooms for cleanliness; report concerns; oversee maid carts and linen closets.
• Ensure lost and found items are promptly handed over to Security.
• Report cleaning needs and maintenance issues.
• Assign rooms and keys to Guest Room Attendants.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Handle projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
• Follow rules and regulations per Local 54 contract for disciplinary matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
