Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a House Supervisor to serve as the in-house administrative representative for patients, staff, staff physicians and visitors in the hospital setting.

The role focuses on providing administrative support, mentoring clinical staff, and serving as a key resource for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth operations across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree minimum; 4 year/Bachelor's degree (BSN/BA/BS) preferred; Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience: At least five years nursing experience required; management experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to interpret care needs by patient age/health status; strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Critical care or ED experience at Clemmons Medical Center and Kernersville Medical Center.

What We Offer

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Minimum Associate's Degree required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - BSN/BA/BS, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years previous nursing experience, required. Previous management experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health and developmental status. Has demonstrated sound and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, good interpersonal skills, and good intra and interdepartmental relationships.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Clemmons Medical Center and Kernersville Medical Center require critical care or ED experience.
