Job summary

Novant Health is hiring a Clinical Supervisor in Kernersville, NC for the Neurology department. This full-time role oversees a team in a clinical setting, in collaboration with clinic leadership to drive NHMG goals and operational efficiency, while maintaining high-quality patient care.

The position requires RN licensure, two years of nursing experience, and supervisory exposure. A high school diploma is required with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Position: Clinical Supervisor
Location: Kernersville, Stokesdale, NC
Department: Neurology

Employment Type: Full Time 40hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:

• In partnership with the Clinic Administrator, ensures implementation and success of NHMG goals.
• Collaborates with the clinic administrator and physician to recognize and communicate opportunities for improvement related to best operational efficiencies in the physician practice setting.
• Participates in the interview process. Participates with clinic administrator to maintain employee human resource files based on corporate policy.
• Attends educational offerings related to his/her competency in the Nursing Field.
• Supports an environment that respects diversity. Interacts with patients/families daily consistent with the state nursing practice act.
• Be open and comfortable, being a working supervisor in the clinic’s procedural areas as needed.
• Supervises between 12 to 13 Team Members.
• Supervises, teaches clinical team, and provides feedback, as needed.
• Assists in orientation of new team members and serves as a resource person and professional role model, within scope of practice.
• Asist with assuring competencies of clinical staff and completing of yearly required AME’s and Training.
• Creates and maintains a healthy work environment that results in improved patient outcomes, team member retention, and organizational excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Two years of nursing experience, REQUIRED, Two years of supervisory experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem solving skills, operate personal computer. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education and training.
