Job summary

Workwear Outfitters, LLC is seeking a Shipping Supervisor for the HiBay area on a 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM).

The role involves supervising associates, ensuring safety and quality, and meeting production targets while maintaining cost efficiency. Strong English communication, leadership, and basic math are essential, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English.
• Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned associates in the HiBay (Shipping) department on 2nd shift to maximize production, quality, and cost control.
• Monitor production flow, provide training and counseling, resolve issues, and create production reports.
• Track attendance and ensure safety standards, quality, and policy compliance while processing orders.
• Support internal and external customers by meeting service requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate with other levels of staff and cross-train to fill in where needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Communicate job expectations and coach/counsel direct reports.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Strong communication skills (oral, written - fluent in English), strong interpersonal skills, and strong basic math skills.
• High attention to detail and quality, and able to flourish in a fast- paced environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work overtime, and/or weekends if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for supervising assigned associates in the HiBay (Shipping) department on 2nd shift to achieve maximum production, quality, and cost control.
• Duties include monitoring the flow of production, providing training and counseling, resolving issues, creating production reports, and tracking attendance.
• Responsible for ensuring safety standards, quality of work, and company policies are maintained, all while processing assigned orders within the shipping requirements.
• Support all internal and external customers by meeting all service requirements and expectations.
• Communicate with all levels of personnel and will be trained on several different tasks in the department to fill in where needed.

HOURS

• 2nd shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Overtime required as needed.
