Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Dining Supervisor at Goshen College in Goshen, IN. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with some weekends required.

The role involves overseeing front end production, cash handling, safety compliance, and customer service excellence. Ideal candidates have culinary/foodservice experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Dining Supervisor at Goshen College in Goshen, IN. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Some weekends are required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management

Requirements:

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Successful team leadership experience
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
