Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Douglasville, GA seeks a Splicer Supervisor to oversee the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant. A solid knowledge of telecom networks and fiber optics is required.

You will supervise staff, review tasks for accuracy and compliance, implement processes to support operations, and communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers. Pre-employment drug screen, background, and driving record checks apply.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

A successful Splicer Supervisor shall supervise employees in the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure; familiarity with fiber optic.
