Job summary

Safran Seats in Gainesville, Texas is seeking a Supervisor Fabrication to oversee production flow, promote safety, and train staff. You will cross-train team members and drive strong communication to resolve issues while guiding labor and materials to meet quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in production processes, machinery and equipment related to sheet metal fabrication, plastic forming, foam/upholstery, welding, or metalworking.
• Knowledge of MRP systems, scheduling, and blueprints.
• MAPICS experience preferred.
• Able to generate written communication and operate office equipment.
• Ability to read and review written communication.

• Promotes safety in all aspects of the department or work cell.
• Provides training to all employees and ensures understanding of duties.
• Cross-trains employees for added efficiency.

• Supervises labor and materials to maintain favorable variances.
• Encourages corrective actions to achieve high product quality and standards.
