Safran Seats Gainesville, Texas, is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead manufacturing and repair operations. The role focuses on aligning Gainesville with Chihuahua, directing staff, and driving growth within a global aerospace seating business.

The VP will provide strategic leadership, optimize operational and financial performance, and report on key metrics to executive leadership. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Gainesville facility with global collaboration and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industiral Org required.
• Business Administration Master degree preferred.
• Professional Qualifications: PMP certification, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership to staff and organization aligned with business plan and Safran Leadership Model.
• Lead operational synergies between Gainesville and Chihuahua to ensure alignment between facilities.
• Assist executive team in building a world-class aerospace organization.
• Drive results from operational and financial perspectives with the CFO and President.
• Set growth, performance and profitability goals and create measurement tools.
• Provide timely reports on the operational state of the business unit.
• Lead implementation of growth strategies and lean processes using continuous improvement tools.

• This role has full management responsibilities of numerous teams of managers/professionals and workforce planning for the future. Ability to read and review written communication.
• This job is expected to direct/lead the development of solutions that go beyond existing precedents, assumptions or current practices and knowledge of high level business challenges.
