Position Overview: Global Operations Supervisor

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes are completed in compliance with guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects, supporting the Global Health Information Operations Manager, maintaining workflow, productivity, and handling escalations.

This position requires travel to India for at least two weeks once per quarter.

Responsibilities:
  1. Be a knowledge expert for global partners.
  2. Lead training of global associates.
  3. Generate reports for global partners, management, and clients.
  4. Oversee Quality Assurance for global partners.
  5. Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
  6. Develop and manage workflow for various clients.
  7. Update Standard Operating Procedures with global partners.
  8. Inform senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges.
  9. Manage multiple projects and respond to changing priorities.
  10. Build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  11. Responsible for Corrective Action Plans and staff development.
  12. Participate in project teams to advance operational strategies.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
  14. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safeguard patient records.
  15. Handle tasks as directed by the Health Information Operations Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Willing to travel internationally.
  • 2+ years of Health Information experience; 3+ preferred.
  • Experience in leading projects and processes.
  • Proficient with office equipment and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
