Supervisor, EMR Remote Operations - Global Operations

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. The role provides support to the Global Health Information Operations Manager and is responsible for maintaining workflow, productivity of the global HIS team, and handling escalations.

Travel Requirement: This position requires travel to India for two weeks at least once per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a knowledge expert for global partners
• Lead training of global associates
• Generate reports for global partners, management, and clients
• Oversee Quality Assurance for global partners
• Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff
• Develop and manage workflow for various clients
• Update Standard Operating Procedures with global partners as needed
• Report issues, opportunities, or challenges to senior leadership
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Implement Corrective Action Plans and staff development
• Participate in project teams and committees
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
• Handle tasks as directed by the Health Information Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willing to travel internationally
• At least 2 years of experience in Health Information; 3+ years preferred
• Experience in leading projects and processes
• Proficiency with office equipment and communication tools
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate, compliant medical records
• Experience in metric-based work preferred
