Supervisor, EMR Remote Operations - Global Operations

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. The role provides support to the Global Health Information Operations Manager. The Global Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of the global HIS staff, as well as handling escalations.

Travel Requirement: This position requires travel to India for two weeks at least once per quarter.

Responsibilities

• Be a knowledge expert for global partners
• Lead training of global associates
• Generate reports for global partners, management, and clients
• Oversee Quality Assurance for global partners
• Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff
• Develop and manage workflow for various clients
• Update Standard Operating Procedures with global partners
• Inform senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges
• Manage multiple projects effectively
• Communicate work status, site difficulties, and volume fluctuations to the manager
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Manage Corrective Action Plans and staff development
• Participate in project teams and committees to advance strategies and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willing to travel to meet global partners
• At least 2 years of health information-related experience; 3+ years preferred
• Experience in leading projects and processes
• Proficient with phones and office equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medical records
