**Job Description**

Responsible for supervising, training, and managing food service operations. Ensure that appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Develops and maintains a safety culture, creating a work environment where no one gets hurt. Directly supervises catering operations, including staff coordination, rental equipment management, setup, preparation, service, and breakdown of catered foods, beverages, and events of varying size and complexity.
  2. Book events, select and cost menu items, and determine pricing as needed.
  3. Coordinate activities with other internal departments. Participate in management team meetings. Interface with vendors and key service users within the client organization.
  4. Represent Aramark and the client at meetings and events, facilitating external customer relations.
  5. Ensure sanitation, organization, and safety standards are met through checklists, supervision, and follow-up.
  6. Participate in catering training programs; assist in developing and implementing training for hourly, part-time, and student employees.
  7. Assist in implementing and adhering to all Aramark Catering initiatives and guidelines.
  8. Prior experience with event booking is preferred.
