Job summary

Levy at Compass Group USA is seeking a dedicated team member to support banquet operations at venues in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. This role involves coordinating event details, guiding staff, and ensuring quality food and service across shifts.

You will monitor setup, assist with guest inquiries, and help uphold standards and policies across events. A positive, collaborative attitude is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee event detailing to ensure accuracy of Banquet Event Orders and alignment.
• Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown for consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Communicate detailed event requirements to event staff and coach team members during pre-shift briefings.
• Lead a team, promoting a positive work atmosphere with mutual respect.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and handle guest inquiries or complaints.
• Ensure all buffet and product signs are created for events.
• Uphold company and client policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Monitors the food service operation to ensure production of top quality products and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees event detailing to ensure accuracy and completeness of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and operational alignment.
• Monitor event setup, service execution, and breakdown to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency
• Provides clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed event requirements to event staff
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings, assign duties, and coach or train team members
  • Works as a team leader promoting a positive work atmosphere of mutual respect with all personnel
• Monitor food and beverage quality, and handle guest inquiries or complaints
• Ensure all buffet and product signs are created for all events
• Upholds policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company and client expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
