Job summary

Compass Group USA, including Levy Restaurants, seeks an enthusiastic hospitality assistant to set up and service events at stadium and venue locations. You will prepare banquet spaces, ensure pristine service, and coordinate with culinary and event teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Role requires reliable, punctual team players who can work evenings, weekends, and event days, with a focus on guest satisfaction and proper food safety practices. Training provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet, catering, club, suite, and event spaces according to event specifications and BEOs.
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests throughout the event.
• Maintain food and beverage stations, ensuring they are fully stocked, clean, organized, and properly presented.
• Replenish food, beverages, serviceware, and other supplies as needed.
• Clear tables, remove used dishes and trash, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event.
• Assist with buffet and chef-table setup, including proper presentation, elevation, labeling, and organization.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown according to established timelines and standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies.
• Communicate guest needs, product shortages, and service issues to supervisors or managers.
• Work collaboratively with culinary, bar, catering, and event teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Assist with post-event breakdown, cleaning, storage, and resetting of event spaces.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow all uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Summary:

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures the accurate execution of all events during his/her shift. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down the setup and leaves the area neat and clean; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
