Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Sensors & Controls Division in Tempe, AZ seeks an Assembly Supervisor to lead assembly and test activities across assigned programs. You will coordinate work assignments, training, inventory, logistics, tools, and facility support to ensure safe, compliant operations.

We value candidates with an associate degree or technical certification, experience in assembly or production, and prior supervisory experience.

  • Associate degree or technical certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in assembly, production, test, or field operations.
  • Prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of assembly operations, inventory control, logistics, and safety requirements.
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, assign, and coordinate assembly and test technician work across programs or locations.
  • Maintain and coordinate training records, safety plans, ordnance handling, forklift, crane, and related requirements.
  • Manage parts inventory, logistics, shipment coordination, and tool accountability.
  • Support facility improvement plans, modifications, maintenance, and readiness.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, performance feedback, training and work direction.

Job description

Assembly Supervisor

As an Assembly Supervisor you will supervise assembly and related test activities across assigned programs, products, or field locations. Coordinates work assignments, training, inventory, logistics, tools, and facility support to ensure safe, compliant, and effective assembly operations.

Location: Tempe, AZ Salary Range: $70,000 - 90,000 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Arizona. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

What You Bring
