Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor of Patient Access and Admissions. The role focuses on directing daily staffing, training, coaching, and mentoring to ensure service levels are met and quality standards are maintained.

You will lead evaluations, manage disciplinary actions as needed, and resolve complex issues while fostering staff development and adherence to policies and procedures. This position emphasizes collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in related field preferred.
  • Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.

How you'll contribute

The Supervisor of Patient Access and Admissions supervise daily staff activities for an assigned area or function.

The Supervisor who excels in this role
  • Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
  • Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
  • Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
  • Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
