Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health on a full-time night shift. The role emphasizes accurate patient assessments, timely documentation, and interdisciplinary care planning to support patient safety and well-being.

Candidates should hold a current RN license; ACLS and PALS within six months, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year of experience preferred. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Must have current state RN license.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred but not required.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
