Job summary

Location: Addison, IL 60101 Schedule: 2nd Shift | Approximately 2:45 PM - 12:00 AM Reports To: Operations Manager

The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading daily operations, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and helping build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.

What You'll Do

• Lead all 2nd shift manufacturing operations and production activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools such as: Value Stream Mapping (VSM) 6S SMED FMEA Continuous Improvement methodologies Understanding of CNC machining environments.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, machining, fabrication, welding, pumps, valves, aerospace, or similar industries.
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
• Ability to speak Polish or Ukrainian is a plus.

Work Environment

This position supports a growing 2nd shift operation and will oversee a team of approximately 5-20 employees. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment where production priorities and staffing needs may shift.

Schedule Expectations

Typical schedule begins around 2:45 PM and ends around 12:00 AM. Minimum 9-hour workday. Occasional shifts up to 10 hours may be required based on production demands. Flexibility is important as the operation continues to grow.
