Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a Supervisor to lead daily service operations with a focus on hospitality and team leadership. Shifts run from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and days off are typically Thursday and Friday, with scheduling varying by business needs.

You will support daily operations and contribute to a positive guest experience. The role emphasizes adherence to policies, coaching staff on Smile Plus principles, and collaboration with management to optimize service delivery and purchasing tasks

Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional experience with four or more years in a food service role.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Culinary, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent job-related experience.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines.
• Supervisory and team management skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises team members in their area of responsibility and consults with management to improve services.
• Follows established Parkhurst and client policies and procedures; upholds standards.
• Coaches team members on Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
• May assist in purchasing foods and supplies.
• Maintains presence in service areas to assess customer satisfaction and communicates findings to management.

Job description

This position works a variable schedule with shifts primarily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
