Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Supervisor to manage the safe and efficient outflow of valet cars and oversee reverse lane operations. Reports to the Facility Manager and acts in their stead when unavailable. The role prioritizes staff direction, safety and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, enforcing policies, and producing daily revenue reports. Experience in parking is preferred; high school diploma required.

The Spirit of the Position:

TheSupervisor is responsible the safe and efficient outflow of valet cars from the garage as well as the reverse lane operation. Position reports directly to Facility Manager and acts in his stead when not available.

Principal Job Duties:

• Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct,policiesand procedures.
• Supervises, mentors, and trains staff on day-to-day activities.
• Assistsinestablishingperformance standards, recommending, and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
• Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
• Assistcustomers over intercom system, in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office.
• Responsible for running any reports related to daily revenue, credit cards, garage data or other reports requested by management
• Assistswith periodic training as needed.
• Assistswith creation of weekly garage schedule.
• Resolvescustomer service issues or questions as needed.
• Greet by/use name, be responsive andtimelywith correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
• Accept monthly and debit payments and process credit cards.
• Basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system (add/deleteaccounts, key in required information from monthly applications).
• Other related duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or GEDrequired.

Experience:

• Supervisory experience is preferred but notrequired.
• Parking industry experience isrequired.

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to speak, read, andcomprehendthe English language.
• Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Abilitybend, stoop, squat and liftfrequentlythroughout a shift.
• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
