Join the Child and Family Services Division’s Supervisory team and help drive meaningful change forchildren, youth, and families across California. We are rolling out new statewide initiatives andstrengthening our foster care programs—and we’re looking for a Supervising Governmental Auditor I(SGA I) who is ready to make an impact.
In this key role, you will lead a dedicated team of auditors within the Policy and Support Unit, workingunder the direction of the Fiscal and Performance Bureau Chief (SGA II). Your team conducts qualityreviews of all audit reports ensuring all reports are consistent and in alignment with GovernmentAuditing Standards and Department policies.
You will guide the team’s work to ensure that policy and regulations are created to support the auditfunctions. Your expertise will help determine compliance with complex state and federalrequirements, and you will also represent the Bureau in various meetings.

This position may be eligible for Hybrid work. In-person attendance is required based on the operational needs of the position and in accordance with Executive Order N-22-25 the Statewide Hybrid Telework Policy, Government Code section 14200, and any applicable department telework requirements. The successful candidate must reside in California at the time of appointment. Proof of California residency may be required .
