Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in performing Flow Cytometry laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis, treatment and research; supervises technical and non-technical staff involved in classifying leukemias and lymphomas through immunophenotyping, assessing immunologically-related diseases, providing clinical data to assess transplant therapy progress and analyzing the DNA components of solid tumors; provides direct administrative and clinical support to the Department Chairperson and Administrator; performs, monitors and reviews simple and/or complex laboratory test procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
