Job Description
Leidos Engineering is seeking a Senior Distribution Planning and Analysis Engineer to work REMOTE and join our distribution planning team. The role involves executing distribution planning, distributed energy resource (DER) interconnection impact, arc flash and coordination studies, distribution protection, and self-healing systems, as dictated by project and client needs. Studies are conducted for Municipal Utilities, Investor-Owned Utilities, and electric system cooperatives. The position may involve client-facing work and some business development activities. The candidate should possess solid analytical distribution experience, including load flow studies for traditional planning and regulatory compliance, distribution protection systems, and self-healing networks. Familiarity with distribution policy and regulatory issues, arc flash assessments, and experience with relevant software tools is highly desirable.
