Job Description

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart stores, utilizing your commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be 18 or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment using various tools
• Utilize work order systems to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete safety and operational training
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and climb ladders

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2,000 (at select locations)
• Additional bonuses and incentives based on performance
