Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, join our fast-paced and welcoming environment!

Your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment in Walmart stores, utilizing your commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• EPA Type I/Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass MVR
• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use the work order system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, following Walmart safety and environmental policies
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders regularly

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Potential $2,000 sign-on bonus (select locations)
• Compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
