Job Description

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our retail store, your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs within Walmart facilities' refrigeration and HVAC equipment, utilizing your commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's refrigeration and HVAC equipment using appropriate skills and tools
• Use work order management system to receive and document repair activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete all required safety training for equipment and tool operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations following Walmart safety and environmental policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (for select locations)
• Compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
