Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects across multiple locations. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership on the road, delivering projects safely, on schedule, and at the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years as a superintendent, travel-ready experience, and a strong safety mindset. Travel is extensive; diagnostic coordination with PMs, owners, inspectors, and design teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Proven experience supervising projects in a traveling capacity.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules.
• Strong safety mindset with a track record of accident-free projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (regional and/or national).

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Enforce safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance on every jobsite.
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers, owners, inspectors, and design teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to proactively identify issues.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and progress documentation.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards across all phases of construction.
• Travel extensively to active project sites as required.

What You’ll Do
