Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Superintendent for TI Projects in the Tampa, FL area. The role oversees all aspects from planning to on-site supervision, ensuring plans are followed and projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in TI/superintendent roles, strong leadership, OSHA knowledge, and proven ability to coordinate crews and manage safety. A construction-related degree and valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a construction superintendent, TI projects preferred.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, OSHA guidelines, and codes.
• Strong leadership and client-liaison skills, with effective communication.
• Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; OSHA/ safety certifications desirable.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent for our TI Projects in and around Tampa, FL. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team and lead our projects to success. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, coordinating, and supervising onsite functions. This position requires a strong leader who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensure safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are carried out according to plans and specifications.
• Review and analyze project specifications to determine the most cost-effective methods and materials to use.
• Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as necessary.
• Ensure that all onsite construction activities are in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction crew and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are carried out according to plan.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work is proceeding on schedule and that materials used and workmanship meet the specifications.
• Implement and enforce OSHA safety and health regulations, including onsite safety meetings and inspections.
• Resolve any issues that may arise, including conflicts between workers, delays or emergencies at the construction site.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a construction superintendent role, preferably in TI projects.
• Proven track record of successfully completing projects from start to finish.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team of professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in construction software programs.
• A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Certification in construction safety management and OSHA compliance is highly desirable.
