Job summary

Jobot in Florida is seeking a permanent Commercial Superintendent to lead, manage, and oversee commercial projects from conception to completion in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate multiple teams, manage budgets and schedules, enforce safety, and ensure high-quality outcomes across banks, healthcare, corporate spaces, and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar role in commercial construction.
• Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and building codes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Experience managing commercial projects to successful completion.
• Certification in construction management or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle and ensure completion within time and budget.

Job Details

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our dynamic and fast-paced construction team. This is a pivotal role that requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of commercial construction processes, project management, and team coordination. Responsibilities

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that projects are completed within the stipulated time and budget.
2. Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams and subcontractors to ensure tasks are executed according to plan.
3. Implementing and enforcing site safety measures and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
4. Reviewing and interpreting project blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure project accuracy.
5. Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and architects on project planning and execution.
6. Resolving any job site issues promptly and effectively to prevent project delays.
7. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality workmanship.
8. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and correspondence.
9. Managing project resources efficiently and maintaining open communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and changes.

Qualifications

9. 10. Certification in construction management or related field will be an added advantage.
