Gideon Contracting, LLC in Arkansas seeks a Construction Scheduler/Project Coordinator to supervise daily schedules and coordinate with subcontractors and government personnel. You will assist the Project Manager in creating and distributing five-week look-aheads and resolving field issues, ensuring compliance with contract documents.

Required experience includes three years in DoD construction, managing projects from start to finish on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Must be able to manage projects of 2 to 15 million in size.
• Must be able to obtain access to a Federal Installation.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, inspect and ensure seamless day-to-day schedules and operations of employees and subcontractors.
• Assist in development, monitoring, updating, and communicating the project schedule; create and distribute 5-week look-aheads.
• Coordinate construction quality control and site safety with QC/SSHO managers; communicate with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.

• WorkwithProjectManagerinassistinginthedevelopment,monitoring,updating,communicatingtheprojectscheduleandperiodicrevisions.Responsibleforcreatinganddistributing5weeklookaheadschedules.
• Overseeworkamongtradepartnerstopromoteacoordinatedschedule/operations.Resolveproblemsregardingprocedures,precedence,designclarificationsandequipmentschedules.
• Communicatewithownersandarchitects/engineersinconnectionwithfieldissues.Investigateandresolve.
• KeyWorkingRelationshipsMustbeabletoworkwithgovernmentandnon-governmentpersonnelinaprofessionalandclearmanner.Beabletoworkwithdifferenttradesandconstructionfocusestoensureaqualityenvironmentwithoutlimitingthetradesabilitytocompletework.MustbeabletoproperlycommunicateoverthephoneandinwritingtouppermanagementtoincludeSubcontractors,Suppliers,OnsiteStaff,Owners,otherPM's,Superintendents,andCorporateSafety.
• Managetheworktoensurecompliancewithandconformstotheapprovedcontractdocuments.
• CoordinateallConstructionQualityControlandSiteSafetyandHealthOfficer(CQC/SSHO)responsibilitieswiththeassignedQCandSSHOmanager.
• WorkwithQCtoensurethatthepropermeetingsareconducted,documented,andpaperworksubmittedpercontractualobligations.AssistQCtomonitorqualityofworkmanshiponsite.
• WorkwithSafetyManagertoensurethatallrulesandproceduresarebeingfollowed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Musthavethreeyears’ofDepartmentofDefense(DOD)constructionexperience.Mustbeabletomanageprojectssuccessfullytocompletion,ontimeandwithinbudget.

RequiredSkills:

• StrongcomputerskillsandfamiliaritywithMicrosoftOfficeSuiteandSharePoint.
• Mustbeabletomanageprojectsof2to15millioninsize.
• MustbeabletoobtainaccesstoaFederalInstallation

PreferredSkills:

• CompletionoftheConstructionQualityManagement(CQM)forContractorscourse.
