Job summary

Gideon Contracting, LLC seeks an experienced scheduling supervisor for Department of Defense construction in the Oklahoma City area. You will oversee day-to-day schedules for employees and subs, partner with the Project Manager to maintain and adjust the master schedule, and distribute 5-week lookahead plans to ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

• Must have three years' of Department of Defense (DOD) construction experience.
• Must be able to manage projects to completion, on time and within budget.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage projects sized 2–15 million.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, inspect and ensure seamless day-to-day schedules and operations of employees and subcontractors.
• Assist the Project Manager in developing, monitoring, updating and communicating the project schedule and revisions; create and distribute 5-week lookahead schedules.
• Oversee coordination among trades to promote a coordinated schedule/operations; resolve issues on procedures, precedence, design clarifications, and equipment schedules.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers regarding field issues; investigate and resolve.
• Manage work to ensure compliance with approved contract documents.
• Coordinate Construction Quality Control and Site Safety Officer responsibilities with QC/SSHO manager.
• Work with QC to ensure proper meetings are conducted, documented, and paperwork submitted per contractual obligations; assist QC in monitoring workmanship.
• Work with Safety Manager to ensure all rules and procedures are followed.

• KeyWorkingRelationships: Must be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trade's ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management to include Subcontractors, Suppliers, Onsite Staff, Owners, other PM's, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

Musthavethreeyears'ofDepartmentofDefense(DOD)constructionexperience.Mustbeabletomanageprojectssuccessfullytocompletion,ontimeandwithinbudget.

RequiredSkills:

• StrongcomputerskillsandfamiliaritywithMicrosoftOfficeSuiteandSharePoint.
