Job Description: Superintendent (Traveling) - Electrical

We have a need for 2 strong Superintendents to travel in the Southeast (GA, NC/SC, TN, AL, FL).

This role will have an annual compensation of $130,000 to $170,000.

You can live in any of these states and travel. We pay for all travel.

About this role:

Our growth has enabled us to start this key role for ensuring success and safety in all of our projects. You will have overall insight into key metrics across projects, execute productivity analysis, collaborate with client field teams, and more.

Location and Travel:

• This role can be located in the Southeast US, with the ability to live in any city and travel.
• Travel: Ability to travel in the Southeast US and at times on short notice for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision for all field activities, including assisting Field Managers in planning and executing scopes of work.
• Manage manpower resources and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Perform plan reviews, provide feedback on constructability, suggest value engineering ideas, and assist with installation planning and layout.
• Engage internal teams to facilitate planning, design, and installation of prefabricated assemblies.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with material procurement, delivery schedules, and staging plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish project goals and monitor progress.
• Perform productivity analyses using Knight Electric tools.
• Assist with building and maintaining CPM schedules and short-term schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Evaluate field personnel performance, assess training needs, and ensure training objectives are met.
• Monitor man hours and guide Field Managers to stay within budgeted hours.
• Collaborate with clients’ field leadership to ensure project success and resolve challenges.
• Monitor company backlog and maintain workforce levels accordingly.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in the electrical field
• Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent role
• Management of scopes of work between $1MM - $5MM
• OSHA 30 Certification
• NFPA 70E Certification
• Active Journeyman or Master’s State License

Compensation:

• Salary and bonus package between $130,000 and $170,000.
