Superintendent (Traveling)

Location and Travel:

• This role can be based in Texas or the Southeast US.
• Can live in any city and travel.

Travel:Ability to travel within Texas or the Southeast US and at times on short notice for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all field activities, including assisting Field Managers in planning and executing scopes of work.
• Manage manpower resources and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Perform plan reviews, provide feedback on constructability, suggest value engineering ideas, and assist with installation planning.
• Engage internal teams for planning, design, and installation of prefabricated assemblies.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with material procurement, delivery schedules, and staging plans.
• Collaborate to establish project goals and monitor progress to ensure success.
• Perform productivity analyses using Knight Electric tools.
• Assist with building and maintaining CPM schedules and short-term schedules, ensuring activities are completed on time.
• Evaluate field personnel performance, assess training needs, and ensure training objectives are met.
• Monitor man hours at the task level and guide Field Managers to stay within budgeted hours.
• Collaborate with clients' field leadership to ensure project success and resolve challenges.
• Monitor company backlog and maintain appropriate workforce levels.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in the electrical field.
• Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent role.
• Experience managing $10-20 million scopes of work.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• NFPA 70E Certification.
• Active Journeyman or Master State License.

Compensation:

• Salary and bonus package between $135,000 and $150,000.
