Superintendent (Traveling)

Our growth has enabled us to create this key role to ensure success and safety across all our projects. You will have overall insight into key metrics, execute productivity analysis, collaborate with client field teams, and more.

Location and Travel:

• This role can be based in Texas or the Southeast US.
• Can reside in any city with travel required.

Travel: Ability to travel within Texas or the Southeast US, sometimes on short notice and for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all field activities, assisting Field Managers in planning and executing scopes of work.
• Manage manpower resources and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met across projects.
• Perform plan reviews, provide constructability feedback, suggest value engineering ideas, and assist with installation planning.
• Engage internal teams for planning, designing, and installing prefabricated assemblies.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, and assist with procurement, delivery schedules, and material staging.
• Collaborate to set project goals and monitor progress to ensure success.
• Conduct productivity analyses using Knight Electric's tools.
• Assist with CPM scheduling and short-term planning, ensuring activities are completed on time.
• Evaluate field personnel performance, identify training needs, and ensure objectives are met.
• Monitor man hours, guide Field Managers, and keep work within budgeted hours.
• Work with clients’ field teams to ensure project success and resolve challenges.
• Monitor company backlog and adjust workforce levels accordingly.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in the electrical field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent.
• Experience managing scopes of work valued at $10-20 million.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• NFPA 70E Certification.
• Active Journeyman or Master State License.

Compensation:

Salary and bonus package between $135,000 and $150,000.
