Job summary

DickAndersonConstruction is seeking a motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Full-Time Superintendent to oversee construction projects in Missoula, Montana.

This role will manage all aspects of the jobsite, ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards, and work closely with Project Managers, Owners, subcontractors, foremen, and crews throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, cost control, and safety practices.
• Understanding of building codes, layout, rough framing, and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency in building construction trades (concrete, carpentry).
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate site requirements.
• Order and manage supplies and materials.
• Track jobsite production daily and weekly.
• Supervise and develop foremen and crews.
• Maintain positive relationships with owners and subcontractors.
• Oversee quality control and productivity on site.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards.

ResponsibilitiesInclude:

• Planningandcoordinatingconstructionjobsiterequirements
• Orderingandmanagingrequiredsuppliesandmaterials
• Trackingjobsiteproductiononadailyandweeklybasis
• Supervising,training,guiding,anddirectingForemenandjobsitecrews
• MaintainingpositiverelationshipswithOwners,Subcontractors,andprojectstakeholders
• Overseeingqualitycontrolandjobsiteproductivity
• EnsuringcompliancewithjobsitesafetystandardsandOSHAregulations
• Organizingandmaintainingprojectdocumentation,includingreports,receipts,shippingtickets,andrelatedpaperwork
• WorkingdirectlywithForementomonitorprojectprogressandprovidejobsiteupdates
• Assistingwithcarpentryworkandotherconstructionactivitiesasneeded
• Performinghousekeepingdutiesandmaintainingaclean,organizedjobsite
• Assistingwithdemolitionandsitepreparationactivitiesasrequired

Qualifications:

• Previousconstructionandsupervisory/Foremanexperiencerequired
• Strongknowledgeofqualitycontrol,costcontrol,andjobsitesafetypractices

• Proficiencyinbuildingconstruction,includingconcretework,roughcarpentry,finishcarpentry,andotherconstructiontrades
