- Provide complete project field leadership and direction for day-to-day operations of assigned projects in partnership with the Project Manager
- Coordinate vendors and subcontractors to install scopes of work according to Contract Documents and Project Schedule
- Maintain overall job site safety, logistics, cleanliness, and professionalism
- Implement the Site-Specific Safety Plan, lead project safety meetings, manage job site logistics, and act as point of contact for incident investigations
- Create, maintain, update, and accurately report the Project Schedule; monitor logic integrity and develop recovery plans
- Lead project pull planning efforts
- Coordinate site construction activities and manage project constraints
- Oversee the Site Quality Assurance Plan, trade partner activities, and Contract compliance
- Schedule and attend site inspections with authorities, third-party inspectors, and clients
- Coordinate installation between trades and drive trade partner progress
- Attend jobsite meetings, schedule deliveries, document site activities, coordinate job progress, assist with inspections, and support invoice and status report reviews
- Collaborate with inter-company field leadership to drive efficiencies and best practices
- Monitor and author Daily Reports
- Drive processing and review of submittals for timely material procurement
- Manage Project Quality Assurance implementation, preparatory meetings, site logistics, and deficiency resolution
- Attend project update meetings and communicate project health and progress
- Measure and report project progress
- Track Energy Savings targets and coordinate with M&V and Engineering teams
- Ensure legal, permit, and regulatory compliance and manage permit closeout
- Document existing site conditions and interface with facility operators
- Coordinate start-up and commissioning activities
- Represent and promote company culture to stakeholders in office and field
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in LARGE ($10M+) commercial construction, with some experience in higher education or healthcare
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Experience with pull planning and Last Planner System
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Primavera
- Organizational and planning skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Ability to manage complex situations, ambiguity, and conflict resolution
- Ability to maintain focus on safety, financial performance, and client expectations
- Ability to perform additional duties as necessary
- Ability to climb stairs and remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
