Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent for institutional renovation projects in Kendall, FL. The candidate will oversee day-to-day field execution, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure safety and conformance with contract documents in active/occupied facilities.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in field superintendent roles, strong leadership and communication, and a proven ability to manage scheduling, sequencing, and RFIs across complex renovations.

Superintendent – Institutional Renovation

Kendall, Miami-Dade, FL

Up To $185,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in institutional renovation projects within active/occupied buildings.

The Superintendent will take responsibility for the day-to-day execution of the project in the field, coordinating subcontractors and trades while ensuring construction is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the contract documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all field construction activities.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
• Develop and maintain field schedules and coordinate trade sequencing.
• Ensure construction is performed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate work based on actual field conditions.
• Organize and lead subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Provide accurate and timely daily project reporting.
• Assist with project schedule updates and look-ahead planning.
• Coordinate and assist with RFI management.
• Identify field issues and work proactively with the project team to resolve them.
• Maintain strong communication with Project Management, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of Superintendent experience.
• Proven experience in institutional renovation construction.
• Experience working in active/occupied buildings is required.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and field operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and competing priorities.
