Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a dynamic Superintendent 1 (Area) for Semiconductor projects. You will lead field operations, ensure safety, and align with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. This role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and delivering high-performance environments.

Ideal candidates bring extensive construction leadership, experience in cleanrooms or mission-critical facilities, and a track record of guiding subcontractors and teams to successful project completion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven construction experience.
  • 2+ years as Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion.
  • 2+ years leading smaller fit-out projects or areas of a larger building project.
  • 2+ years with change order and ticket management.
  • 2+ years with subcontractor oversight.
  • 2+ years with schedule updates and look ahead schedules.
  • 2+ years with reading and delivering on plans and specs.
  • 2+ years supporting semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or mission-critical facility construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee field operations in assigned areas, ensuring safety, timely delivery, profitability and ethical practice.
  • Directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
  • Ensure work complies with contract documents, design, budget and schedule.

The Superintendent is responsible for field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. They ensure the work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule. They directly supervises field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.

Superintendent 1 - Semiconductor Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years of proven construction experience
  • 2+ years of being a Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion
  • 2+ years Successful leadership of smaller fit out projects or an area of a larger building project
  • 2+ years experience with change order and ticket management
  • 2+ years experience with subcontractor oversite
  • 2+ years experience with schedule updates and look ahead schedules
  • 2+ years experience with reading and delivering on plans and specs
  • 2+ years experience supporting semiconductor, advanced technology, microchip manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or other mission-critical facility construction projects
