Job summary

Skanska seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex projects in the United States. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and ethical practices while directing craft and non-craft teams on site.

  • 15+ years of Building and construction experience.
  • 10+ years experience identifying and dealing with Risk & Mitigation procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee field operations on the project(s) assigned, ensuring safety, timely delivery, profitability and ethical conduct in line with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule.
  • Directly supervise field craft labor and non-craft field personnel on site.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and applicable regulations.

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned and ensures the project/area is constructed in a safe, timely, profitable and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. He/she directly supervises field craft labor and non-craft field personnel.

Senior Superintendent Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years actively creating a Safety and QA/QC Cultural
  • 5+ years in a Top Leadership position for multiple projects
  • 15+ years of Building and construction experience
  • 15+ years experience scheduling and prioritizing activities.
  • 10+ years experience identifying and dealing with Risk & Mitigation procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to Mentor and develop talent.
  • Proven experience stepping into a problem project and quickly identifying problem areas or concerns and setting direction for correcting the issue
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.

Salary Low: USD $164,625.00/Yr.

Salary High: USD $263,500.00/Yr.
