Job summary

MPI in Indianapolis is recruiting for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on major industrial, healthcare, education, and commercial projects in Central Indiana.

You will partner with leadership to drive safety, quality, and schedule while mentoring field crews and shaping how field operations are structured on multi-year programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or Construction Superintendent.
• Experience leading projects from groundbreaking through final completion.
• Background in commercial construction, industrial construction, or education construction.
• Overseeing self-perform concrete crews is a plus.
• Experience managing field operations on large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects
• Lead projects from preconstruction planning through closeout
• Drive project schedules and coordinate field operations to meet milestones
• Supervise subcontractors, craftsmen, and self-perform crews
• Coordinate and manage concrete scopes of work throughout project execution
• Create and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules
• Deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality expectations
• Operate as the primary field leader and point of coordination on-site
• Conduct subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and planning sessions

Description

As the Construction Superintendent, you will lead field operations and oversee project execution from mobilization through final completion.

Key responsibilities include:

Profile

• Experience managing field operations on large-scale construction projects
• Experience working with self-perform construction crews
• Concrete construction experience strongly preferred
