Commercial Construction Superintendent (Indianapolis, IN)

A well-established commercial General Contractor in the Indianapolis market is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects ranging from $20M- $50M+.

This role will oversee the full field operation of projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedule, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

The company has a strong reputation in the Midwest construction market and continues to experience steady growth across multiple sectors.

PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on ground-up commercial construction projects
• Manage project schedules and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners
• Enforce safety standards and conduct weekly safety meetings
• Communicate project milestones with ownership, architects, and project teams
• Review drawings, specifications, change orders, and project documentation
• Identify and resolve jobsite risks to maintain safety, schedule, and quality
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman on commercial projects
• Experience managing ground-up construction projects ($20M-$50M+)
• Strong ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage field operations
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with construction technology such as Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar tools
• Strong leadership and communication skills
