This role is responsible for supervising maintenance, construction, and operational activities across New York City Transit stations and facilities. It directs multi‑trade teams in the coordination and execution of repair, inspection, and rehabilitation work involving structural, electrical, plumbing, and architectural systems, ensuring all activities support the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of transit environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing structural and/or lighting maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation operations that impact the physical integrity of NYC Transit stations and facilities. This includes correcting all nonconformities and outstanding work orders, which may involve electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural elements of stations, employee facilities, and repair shops.
The candidate will lead initiatives across their assigned location to improve operations, structural integrity, electrical functions, and the cosmetic appearance of stations and employee facility rooms. The role requires collaboration with other managers within and outside the division to ensure safety protocols and procedures are followed, and to oversee maintenance shop administrative functions.
