Superintendent (Traveling)

Our growth has enabled us to create this key role to ensure success and safety across all our projects. You will have overall insight into key project metrics, execute productivity analysis, collaborate with client field teams, and more.

Location and Travel:

• This role can be located in Texas or in the Southeast US.
• Can live in any city and travel.
• Travel: Ability to travel within Texas or the Southeast US, sometimes on short notice for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide supervision for all field activities, including assisting Field Managers in planning and executing scopes of work.
2. Manage manpower resources and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
3. Perform plan reviews, provide feedback on constructability, and assist with installation planning.
4. Engage internal teams to facilitate planning, design, and installation of prefabricated assemblies.
5. Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with material procurement, delivery schedules, and staging plans.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to set and monitor project goals.
7. Perform productivity analyses using Knight Electric tools.
8. Assist with building and maintaining CPM schedules and short-term schedules.
9. Evaluate field personnel performance and ensure training objectives are met.
10. Monitor man hours and guide Field Managers to stay within budgeted hours.
11. Collaborate with client field leadership to ensure project success and resolve challenges.
12. Monitor company backlog and adjust workforce levels accordingly.

Position Requirements:

1. Minimum 10 years in the electrical field.
2. Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent role.
3. Management of $10-20 million scopes of work.
4. OSHA 30 Certification.
5. NFPA 70E Certification.
6. Active Journeyman or Master’s State License.

Compensation:

• Salary and bonus package between $135,000 and $150,000.
