Job summary

MPI, a leading national general contractor, is expanding in Southern California. Our Superintendent will lead field operations across multi-million dollar projects, coordinating subs, managing schedules, and ensuring safety and quality from mobilization to closeout.

The successful candidate has 8+ years as a Superintendent with a commercial GC, proven ground-up project delivery, and strong leadership and communication skills. This role offers a stable, growth-oriented path.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial General Contractor.
• Proven experience leading ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
• Experience managing projects valued at $40M+.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, field coordination, quality control, and safety management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion.
• Manage and coordinate all subcontractor activities on-site.
• Develop, maintain, and drive master project schedules.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings and weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform quality control inspections and proactively address construction deficiencies.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Consultants.
• Identify and resolve field-related challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Monitor workforce productivity and site logistics to maximize efficiency.
• Manage inspections, punch lists, turnover processes, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting through construction management software platforms.
