Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a leading Southern California commercial general contractor to hire a Senior Superintendent to lead high-profile ground-up projects in Pasadena and Pacific Palisades. The firm values long-term employee development and promotes from within.

You will oversee all field operations, coordinate multiple trades, mentor assistants, enforce OSHA standards, and partner with PMs, Owners, Architects, and design teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Led ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Experience coordinating large, complex projects and multiple trades.
• Strong scheduling, sequencing, quality control, and safety knowledge.
• Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office and construction management technology proficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage project schedules while ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, field staff, and project teams.
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Design Teams throughout construction.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and oversee project logistics.
• Enforce company safety standards and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Review construction documents, identify potential conflicts, and proactively resolve field issues.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel while fostering a positive jobsite culture.

Due to continued growth and an expanding backlog, they are looking to hire an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead high-profile projects in Pasadena and Pacific Palisades.
