Job summary

RWE Design Build in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our ground-up projects across the Indianapolis area. The role requires overseeing construction efforts, maintaining schedules, and ensuring quality aligns with drawings and specs.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings with subs, managing materials delivery, resolving field conflicts with project teams, maintaining look-ahead schedules and daily logs in Procore, and preparing punch

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ground-up commercial construction experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• Must be able to create and review project schedules with subcontractors, PMs and stakeholders weekly.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Outlook, Excel, Word and document management systems.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Local travel is required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations and codes.

RWE Design Build is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects located throughout the Indianapolis area. This position requires the candidate to lead construction efforts and monitor the progression of schedules.

Responsibilities:

Become familiar with and understand plans, specifications, site, local codes, local officials and inspection procedures

Coordinate and maintain construction schedules to ensure projects are being completed according to drawings and specs

Ensures quality standards are being met throughout the project

Conduct meetings with subcontractor representatives of the project on a daily and/or weekly basis to schedule and coordinate construction activities

Ensure materials are delivered to construction sites according to construction schedules

Work with owners, owner’s reps, architects and subcontractors to resolve any conflicts that may arise and communicate any such conflicts immediately to the Project Manager

Create and maintain look ahead schedules for every project

Maintain daily logs, progress photographs and weekly reports in Procore

Complete and submit all paperwork as required

Attend job meetings and/or any other meetings as may be required for the successful and timely completion of the project(s)

Schedule and attend all required inspections

Compile and schedule punch list items for completion as well as coordinate project closeouts

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial ground-up construction experienceas a CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
  
• MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS OF GROUND UP, COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE
  
• Must currently create an initial schedule for the projectand review weekly with sub-contractors, PMs, and all Stakeholders
  
• Must possess strong technical, communication and computerskills, including competency with Procore, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Dropbox,and document management systems
  
• Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations and codes
  
• OSHA 30 Certified
• Local travel is required for this position
  
• An ideal candidate will have experience in one or more ofthe following areas: ground-up construction, additions, interior remodels,design build, carpentry
