Job summary

RWE Design Build is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our projects around the Indianapolis area, with frequent on-site oversight and coordination from our Downers Grove, IL office. You will manage schedules, quality, and safety across multiple sites, coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors to drive timely completion.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of ground-up commercial construction experience.
• Must currently create and review an initial project schedule with subcontractors, PMs, and all stakeholders.
• Strong technical, communication and computer skills, including Procore, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Dropbox.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations and codes.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Local travel is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with plans, specs, site, local codes and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate and maintain construction schedules to meet drawings and specs.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors to schedule and coordinate activities.
• Ensure materials are delivered per construction schedules.
• Collaborate with owners, architects and subcontractors to resolve conflicts and report to Project Manager.
• Create and maintain look-ahead schedules for every project.
• Maintain daily logs, progress photos and weekly reports in Procore.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork.
• Attend job meetings and inspections as required.
• Schedule and attend required inspections.
• Coordinate project closeouts and punch lists.
