Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to bring your expertise and passion for problem-solving, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement to an organization that values innovation and reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and robustness of our manufacturing systems and will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead reliability engineering efforts and initiatives to improve the reliability of equipment and systems throughout the manufacturing process.
2. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
3. Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate equipment failures and difficulties, and identify and implement corrective actions.
4. Develop and implement Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes, determine their effect on the operation of the product, and identify actions to mitigate the failures.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and execute reliability studies and evaluate results to support plant reliability strategies.
6. Analyze data from maintenance and inspection reports, using statistical analysis and trend data to predict future reliability issues.
7. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.
8. Provide training and support to the maintenance team to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance roles in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proven experience with preventive maintenance, RCA, FMEA, and equipment management.
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with staff at all levels.
7. Proficiency in using computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and CAD.
8. Knowledge of industry safety procedures and regulations.
9. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) would be an added advantage.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
