Job summary

Renowned Recruitment Group is sourcing a Field Operations Manager for a prestigious Bay Area luxury residential design-build firm. The role leads field operations across custom-home and major remodel projects, overseeing crews, scheduling, safety, quality, and subcontractor performance while maintaining client-ready sites.

You will coordinate with project managers, designers and estimators, review site plans, and drive consistent standards across multiple active projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing luxury residential construction operations.
• Experience as General Superintendent, Field Operations Manager or Senior Superintendent.
• Knowledge of custom homes, complex renovations and occupied projects.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects and field teams.
• Read plans, specifications and construction documents; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations across multiple custom residential construction projects.
• Supervise, mentor and support superintendents and other field personnel.
• Establish consistent expectations for safety, quality, scheduling and documentation.
• Review project schedules, staffing needs, site logistics and construction plans.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits and field-performance reviews.
• Identify schedule, quality and coordination issues before they affect project delivery; coordinate with project managers, designers, estimators and company leadership.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower and adherence to project requirements.
• Support field teams in resolving constructability and sequencing challenges.
• Ensure jobsites remain organized, professional, safe and client-ready.
• Oversee quality-control procedures, punch lists and project closeout.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training and evaluating field personnel.
• Promote accountability, communication and continuous improvement.
• Maintain positive relationships with homeowners, trade partners and inspectors.

A respected high-end residential design-build firm is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead construction operations across custom-home and major-remodel projects throughout the Bay Area.

This leadership position will oversee field personnel, project execution, scheduling, quality, safety and subcontractor performance. The ideal candidate has extensive luxury residential construction experience and can establish consistent standards across multiple active projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience as a General Superintendent, Field Operations Manager or Senior Superintendent
• Strong knowledge of custom homes, complex renovations and occupied projects
• Demonstrated success overseeing multiple projects and field teams
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling and quality control
• Strong subcontractor-management and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of residential building codes and jobsite safety requirements
• Ability to read plans, specifications and construction documents
• Strong leadership, communication and conflict-resolution abilities
• Proficiency with construction-management and scheduling software
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel among Bay Area jobsites
