Location: Mill Valley, CA (Onsite – Bay Area projects)

Compensation: $170,000 – $230,000 base + discretionary bonus

Position Overview

A leading builder of high-end, complex construction projects is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager / Site Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale, detail-driven builds. This is an urgent, high-impact role responsible for managing all onsite construction activities and delivering projects to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction operations from mobilization through project completion
• Oversee daily jobsite activity, managing 100+ personnel depending on project phase
• Coordinate and manage 35–40 subcontractors across multiple trades
• Maintain project schedule, sequencing, and overall jobsite productivity
• Ensure strict quality control aligned with high-end construction standards
• Collaborate closely with Project Management to execute project vision and objectives
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues to mitigate delays and cost impacts
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized jobsite
• Drive clear communication between field teams, subcontractors, and leadership

Qualifications

• 15–25+ years of construction experience ideally, with 10+ years in a supervisory role
• Experience managing large-scale, complex projects ($25M+ required; $50M+ preferred)
• Background in luxury residential construction highly preferred
• Will also consider high-end commercial experience (tech campuses, premier office spaces, high-finish environments)
• Proficiency in AutoDesk, MS Project, and MS Excel
• Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple subcontractors simultaneously
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and high-detail execution
